Baked by the legendary, family-run Fiasconaro bakery in Castelbuono, Sicily, each panettone undergoes a rigorous, patient 72-hour natural leavening process. This slow technique ensures an incredibly soft, fluffy, and fragrant dough. Rather than sticking to the basic Northern tradition, the recipe leans heavily into the rich, sun-drenched flavors of the Italian South.
